Angèle refers to the movement of testimonies against sexual harassment widely disseminated on social networks.
"Balance ton Porc" (Me too), appeared in autumn 2017 following serious accusations of rape and sexual assault against the famous film producer Harvey Weinstein.
This movement has made it possible for women everywhere to speak out about the sexual assaults they faced alone and in silence.
In this song, Angèle speaks directly to men who participate in street harassment, the trivialization of misogyny and the degradation of the image of women in France.
Reference is also made to the homonymous slang word "Kwah", which means "cul"(ass) in French.
